Princess Leia

Leia

Leia is our socalhomeshop pet of the week at your available at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a four-year-old, nine pound, Domestic Short Hair with a brown Tabby coat.

While Princess Leia would be a purrfect fit anywhere, it’s not hard to imagine her as an “office cat” that would greet guests and customers. She loves being wherever the people are. She needs to be the only cat. If you’re at the computer, don’t be surprised if she tries to bat her paw at your mouse.

The $100 adoption fee for Leia includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.

sheba solo

socalhomeshop rescue of the week from Rancho Coastal Humane Society is Miss Sheba:)
She is the kind of girl that tries to melt through the chain link on her kennel gate so she can get closer to you. She LOVES people.

Sheba is a German Shepard/Golden Retriever mix who is three years old and weighs 55 pounds. She has a playful and outgoing personality, and loves everyone she meets. One of her favorite things to do is to snuggle with people. She just can’t get close enough. When it’s time for some exercise she loves playing with other dogs. As much as she would love to spend hours lying on the couch, she’s not a couch potato. Sheba is going to need an active family that will include her in almost everything they do.

Sheba first arrived at Rancho Coastal Humane Society in 2013. She was adopted right away. Now her family moved to a place that doesn’t allow dogs.

The $145 adoption fee for Sheba includes medical exam, vaccinations, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday.
